Are you steering your business with a well-thought out, forward-thinking plan? There are many reasons why you may not have one. However, if you are really serious about realizing greater levels of success, strategic planning is one of the best ways to challenge the status quo and get the results you really want.
If you ready to position your business for growth we can guide you through an in-depth look at your business from new perspectives. Our process includes helping you assess opportunities and risks and develop realistic strategies to move your business forward. Together we will look at current information (including client data which we can help you gather if you don't have it), research, assessments (internal and external) and trends to develop:
- A Marketing Plan— a set of targeted strategies to get your message to the right audience. This includes a well defined target market, the message- including what differentiates your business, and an action plan for the year (built on individual and organizational strengths)
- A Systems and Process Plan — a prioritized list of initiatives based on business goals that will help maximize productivity, standardize procedures, and develop loyal customers
- A Financial Plan— Targeted financial goals for the next 3 years
- An HR Plan— An employee roadmap that might include a staffing plan, roles and responsibilities, development plans, and compensation strategies.
- A Dashboard to measure progress— For every important goal, measures are designed to track progress. Typically there are financial, systems and process, learning and development, and client measures.
- An Empowered Team— during the process there are many ways to include key stakeholders such as your employees, clients, business partners, etc.
The format of our strategic thinking and planning process can be flexibly designed to fit in with the demands of your business. The core of our standard process usually takes about twelve weeks with 1-2 hour facilitated weekly sessions, but we have also worked in a variety of environments with unique scheduling needs.
Many companies understand the value of developing a plan but have realistic concerns about their ability to implement. If follow-through is a concern for your organization, we can build in an ongoing coaching process to assure success.
We welcome you to join our list of small businesses that can't
stop talking about the positive impact of planning.
When I look at my work and business today, it is not longer two dimensional, but rather multi-dimensional. Today, I have a sail - my strategic plan- and it keeps me on task while offering more flexibility than I've ever had before.
